How to get to the Battleship Missouri Memorial:

Click Here to View the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites Map

The Battleship Missouri Memorial ticket booth and shuttle station are located at the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum, just a short walk from the USS Arizona Memorial visitors center.

By car:

From Waikiki, take the H1 freeway and follow the "Pearl Harbor" overhead highway signs to the airport. DO NOT TAKE THE "NAVAL BASE" EXIT. Take the exit labeled "Arizona Memorial / Stadium", exit #15A.  Follow the brown "Pearl Harbor Historic Sites" roadside signs. The brown signs will lead you directly to the USS Arizona Memorial visitors center and the adjacent USS Bowfin Submarine Museum.

From West Oahu, take the H1 freeway headed East. Take exit labeled, "Aiea/Honolulu", exit #13A, to merge onto HI 78 / I-H201 toward Aiea.  Take the Stadium/Aiea exit.  Keep right, merging onto Moanalua Road.  At first traffic light, turn left to merge onto HI -99 E/Kamehameha Hwy toward Pearl Harbor.  Turn right at Arizona Memorial Place to the USS Arizona Memorial visitor center and adjacent USS Bowfin Submarine Museum.

By shuttle:

Hotel pickup is provided at major Waikiki hotels for nominal fees. Ask your hotel activities desk for Pearl Harbor Historic Sites shuttle details.

By city bus:

There is no direct bus service from Waikiki to the Battleship Missouri Memorial, but it does take riders to the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum that houses the Missouri’s ticket office. To take the city bus, catch the 42 Ewa Beach (directly to Pearl Harbor) on Kuhio Avenue in Waikiki and get off at the USS Arizona Memorial. Call TheBus at 848-4500 or check their website, www.thebus.org, to confirm routes, rates and schedules.

By cab:

This is a good alternative if you are coming from the vicinity of the airport. Anticipate a one-way fare of approximately $40 from Waikiki.

Other Pearl Harbor Historical Sites:

You may wish to consider combining our tour with those of the USS Arizona Memorial, USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and the Pacific Aviation Museum – Pearl Harbor. The USS Arizona Memorial is free (tax supported), but there is a charge for the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and Pacific Aviation Museum, which are operated, as we are, by private, non-profit groups.

If you plan to visit all three of our facilities, please allow at least 5 hours for the complete Pearl Harbor experience. You may wish to allot some additional time to rest between tours, enjoy a bite to eat and to visit our gift shops.
